黃葻，臺灣北投人，以舞踏為核心展開跨域創作，並以身體作為通往文化、土地與生死經驗的媒介。

其舞踏脈絡深受「身體作為容器」的觀念啟發，關注意識在身體中的潛伏、腐朽與再生，並在旅行中持續與地方文化形成對話。 近年行旅至尼泊爾、印度、印尼與日本，以舞踏置身於寺廟、河岸、山林與市集等日常場域，透過感官敞開與場域之氣相互滲透。亦於各式跨領域合作中發展出柔韌而透明的舞踏語彙。

他的創作橫跨舞踏、實驗影像與水墨書畫，並持續以旅人之身行踏世界，以一具活體去觸碰文化、土地與時間的暗層，尋求舞踏身體之於土地中的可能性。

Lan Huang, a Butoh artist from Taiwan, creates across disciplines with the body as a vessel for culture, land, and experiences of life and death. Their practice explores decay, rebirth, and the subconscious within the body, continuously shaped through encounters with local cultures during travels.

In recent years, they have brought Butoh into temples, riversides, forests, and markets across Nepal, India, Indonesia, and Japan, opening the senses to exchange with each site’s atmosphere. Their work spans Butoh, experimental video, and ink calligraphy, seeking new possibilities for the Butoh body in relation to land as they move through the world as a traveling artist.
